What Harper Should Have Said Regarding A Coalition

I'm very surprised that Stephen Harper has attacked an opposition coalition -- after Ignatieff said he wouldn't have one.

Why bother saying anything like that Mr. Harper? It's almost as if the campaign team is not listening to what others are saying but pre-recording topics they want to cover. That works when the topics are in your favor, but it can backfire too. In this case, Stephen should have kept quiet on this topic.

IN FACT, one of the things wrong with Canadian politics is that it's mainly about the "other guys" -- why what they want to do is wrong, etc. It should be more about "here's what we want to do and why".

Come on, fellas. You have an opportunity to change the "going over the cliff in a handbasket to hell" state of your field of work.   -- I know that's more than one metaphor but it best describes the state of our politics today in Canada. Just stick to your platforms, and in the case of the Conservatives, your record.
