The Arab Revolt Now going on.

There's no proof that all seven countries now exhibiting civil unrest in the Middle East and North Africa got together to do this. But at the same time, one idea of revolution in one place sparks another in another place.

This author quotes one Egyptian as saying this whole thing is good in the long-run, but not so good in the short-run. I'd like to suggest that the total opposite is true. These revolts, based on some solid and legitimate causes, may lead to more instability in the region and ultimate radical Islamist takeover. And we're just letting it happen.

This can't be good for Israel. And if it's not good for Israel, it won't be good for the rest of us.
